Your first day at a new school should be exciting and inspiring! At English Unlimited your new international family will welcome you to the school and make your first day an amazing experience.
We will organise the following on your first day:
Orientation and Extra Support
During orientation we will tell you important information about English Unlimited, the city and its surroundings and Australia. You will receive a student handbook that you will complete with our friendly orientation staff. A full version of the handbook and information about our policies is available here.
We will offer you support with the following, if you need our help:
Placement test and Individual Learning Plan (ILP)
We need to know your English level so we can accurately counsel you as to which class is best for you. Before you go to class, you need to do a grammar test, a writing test and you will have an oral interview with a trained, qualified teacher.
If you are a day student you will join your class on Monday morning at 11:15 am. Your class starts at 9am each day so don’t be late!
If you are an evening student you will join your class as soon as your test has been marked. Evening classes begin at 4.30pm.
* Please remember to bring your passport on the first day.
